Fauxwood horizontal blinds are distinguished by quality craftsmanship and durability. These products are produced with the highest quality metal and polycarbonate components. Additionally, Fauxwood horizontal blinds are built on a roll-formed, heavy-duty steel headrail, which further increases the strength and stability of the product. The operating components are secured inside the headrail by means of snap-in fittings. The cord lock incorporates a stainless steel wear guard and has a crash-resistant safety feature that locks the blind automatically once the lift cords are released. To provide smooth operation and tight slat closure, the cord tilter utilizes a steel gear housing, while the wand tilter option incorporates heavy duty components ensuring longevity.

Warranty: All of Steve’s Exclusive Collection Products are backed with a limited lifetime warranty which does not cover normal wear and tear, improper installation, abuse, or other items outside of the manufacturer’s control. Freight and packaging to and from the manufacturer is not covered under the warranty and is the customer’s responsibility.
Please Note: Blinds over 102” wide will not be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty unless they are made into multiple blinds on one headrail.
Note: For width specification please know the following
Inside Mount: Measure from the inside surface to the inside surface. Please provide us with exact measurements as the manufacturer will make the necessary deduction up to ½”.
Outside Mount: Measure the exact area you wish to cover as the manufacturer will produce your shade to your exact measurements. Be sure to take the window trim into account.
Standard Blind Specifications
Width: 8” – 120”
- The minimum width of 8” is for Outside Mount Only. Order cannot be placed for 8” Inside Mount or below.
- Any measurements below 11” Outside Mount will have Tilt Control in the Center of the blind Only.
- Any measurement between 15” Outside Mount and 11 1/8” Inside Mount must have controls on opposite sides.
- Widths that are 11.25” and above can have same side control.

Brackets
- Standard
- Extension Brackets: Projects the back of the shade up to 2 3/8” from the mounting surface. Requires a 2” Flat surface.
- Hold Down Brackets: Mounted on wall or door to support the bottom rail of the blind, preventing the blind from swaying. Recommended for doors or for blinds that you do not intend to raise or lower.
Tilting Mechanism Options
- Cord
- Wand: Color-coordinated vinyl wand is supplied in 24”, 36”, 48” and 60” lengths, depending on the height of the shade ordered. You can specify the wand height if you need to.
Fabric Tape Options
- 1” Wide Standard Fabric: A solid tape color.
- 1 /2” Wide Standard Fabric: A solid tape color.
- 1 ½” Decorative Fabric: Decorative design appears on the front face of the tape only. Window side of tape has a solid color.
Multiple Blinds on One Headrail: Choose to have 2-on-1 Headrail or 3-on-1 Headrail. This feature has multiple blinds mounted onto one continuous headrail. It is recommended for large blinds. Blinds over 78” wide are not covered under the manufacturer’s warranty unless they are made into multiple shades on one headrail.
Routeless Feature: The lift cord does not pass through the center of the slats as a standard shade would, which eliminates the route hole through the slats, allowing for greater light control and privacy. The slats can be easily removed for cleaning as they slide in through cords. Routeless slats are not available with fabric tapes.
