What is Covered: This Custom Tailored Roman Shade product is warranted against original defects in materials or workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the product provided that:
· The product was properly installed in a residential dwelling
· The product was made or assembled exclusively from Bali Window Fashions materials and components
· Bali Window Fashions’ recommendations were followed with regard to limitations and specifications.
Who Is Covered: This warranty extends only to you as the original purchaser of the Custom Tailored Roman Shade.
Obligations to the Consumer: The obligations of Bali Window Fashions are limited to the repair or replacement of parts or product found to be defective. Bali is not responsible for shipping costs or labor costs for measuring and taking the shade down or reinstalling the product. If repairs are made under this warranty, the repairs will be made with like or similar parts.
What the Warranty Does Not Cover: This warranty does not cover conditions or damages caused by accidents, alterations, misuse, or failure to follow instructions for measurement, installation, cleaning or maintenance. In addition, normal wear and tear are not covered by the warranty. All fabrics can lose original intensity after long exposure to the sun. When left for extended periods in direct sunlight, plastics tend to yellow or crack. All cords will eventually wear out. Bali considers these things normal wear and tear, and they are not covered by the warranty.
*This warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other written or oral warranties or obligations and liabilities. No person is authorized to extend or alter this warranty. Bali shall have no liability whatsoever for incidental or consequential damages.
Measuring:
· Inside Mount: Please provide us with the exact measurements of your window area. Do not take deductions. For looped and Classic Shades, the number and height of each lop/pleat will vary based on the height of the shade. Embellishments at the bottom of the shade will be included in the finished height of the shade (shade plus embellishments will fit within the height of the window). Some light may shine through the embellishments.
· Outside Mount: Please provide us with the exact measurements of the area you want to cover. The factory makes no allowances on outside mount. Be sure to take window casing into account for complete coverage. For looped and Classic Shades, the number and height of each lop/pleat will vary based on the height of the shade. Embellishments at the bottom of the shade will be added to the finished height of the shade.

Bottom Panel Heights
The purpose of the following information is to help you visualize what your shade will look like by approximating the number of full panels and the bottom panel length. Full panel lengths are 9” for flat and 6 1/2” for looped. However, the bottom panel is used as the adjustment panel to get the finished height. Therefore, the bottom panel length varies depending on the shade height. Just a small change in the finished height can create significantly different looks. It is very important to consider the possible variation when ordering more than one shade for a room. For multiple shade orders with shades at exact same height, please add “hang side by side” comment. This chart should be used to compare the effect of various lengths. The information can vary depending on the pleat length tolerance.

Brackets
- Standard: A hidden bracket system with zinc plated spring steel for easy installation
- Side Mount: Mount blind from the side of the headrail, instead of from the top. Maximum shade width is 60”. Optional. Must be requested at the time of order.
- Hold Down Brackets: Optional brackets that secured shade to doors, wall or window sills to prevent swaying. Must be requested at the time of order.
- Extension Brackets: Optional brackets that project the back of the shade away from the mounting surface. Available in up to 3 sizes, 2”, 2 5/8”, or 3 ½”. Also available are 3/16” shims.
Fold Styles
- Flat Style: Flat 9” tabbed fabric panels have long pleats that provide classic styling. Perfect for any decorating style. The hemmed fabric edges are guaranteed not to fray.
- Looped Style: Looped 6 ½” tabbed fabric panels have loops that are created by cord loops on the back side of the shade. Provides a dimensional look with a bit more emphasis on elegance. The hemmed fabric edges are guaranteed not to fray.
Lift System Options
- Standard Lift System: Blind lifts standard from the bottom up. The enclosed aluminum headrail is color-coordinated to the shade fabric. It is extremely durable and rust proof. The sill rail is wrapped in fabric and covered with a clear channel for durability. A standard 5 ½” fabric valance is provided free of charge. It matches the shade fabric for an uninterrupted look and attaches the headrail with hook and loop fastener.
- Continuous Cord Loop System: A pulley system where the cord retains the same length no matter what position the shade is in. A single, white continuous cord loop cord raises and lowers the shade when pulled in either direction. The slim headrail contains a powerful clutch that stops the shade precisely at any point and holds the bottom rail perfectly level. The clutch mechanism actually helps lift the shade’s weight as it’s raised. The stack is more compact than the standard lift system and holds it more securely. Perfect for homes with children and pets for better safety precautions. An optional fabric valance is available free of charge.
- When Ordering with Multiple Blinds on One Headrail: There will be a left control operating the left fabric panel and a right control operating right fabric panel. For three panel shades, specify is the middle panel should be controlled by the left or right control (it will raise and lower with the specified shade control). Controls cannot be located in the middle of the headrail.
- Top Down/Bottom Up System: The shade raises and lowers from the bottom like a standard shade, but also lowers from the top for optimum privacy and light control. Perfect for screening unwanted views or maintaining privacy while enjoying natural sunlight. Great for bedrooms and bathrooms. The enclosed aluminum headrail is color-coordinated to the shade fabric, and is durable and rust proof. An optional fabric valance is available free of charge.
Valance Options
· Fabric Valance: The coordinating valance creates an uninterrupted look, which conceals the headrail for an elegant appearance. Edges are hemmed and attached to the headrail with hook and loop tape. Available on all fold styles. They are provided free of charge, if requested, at the time of order. Additional valances can be ordered for an additional charge.
· Wood Cornice: Crafted from premium hardwood with fine furniture-quality finish. L brackets are supplied for easy installation. Choose from two different types of styles and heights. Wood cornices are shipped separately from the shade. The manufacturer recommends installing the shade and cornice at the same time. Please call 1-800-684-0862 for pricing and details.
· Fabric-Wrapped Cornice: Available in most fabrics to create a coordinating statement with your shade or a bold contrasting fabric. Please see below for available collections. Provided with L brackets for easy installation. The polyester batting under the fabric creates an upholstered appearance, a white fabric liner covers the dust cover and inside of the cornice for a finished look. Cornices will be shipped separately from the shade, but it is recommended that you install both at the same time. · Gimp Trim: Choose from an array of different colors for a slight touch of curiosity to your shade. Optional trims are attached to the bottom edge of the valances only.
