Inside Mount: Please provide the exact measurements of the inside of your window from jam to jam and the factory will make the necessary deductions (up to 1/2" depending on the type of blinds) to ensure the proper operation of your blinds as well as to accommodate for brackets, headrail and valances (on roller shades the materials may be 1 1/8" - 1 1/2" inch less than the opening)
Outside Mounts: Please provide the exact measurements of the area you would like your blinds to cover including wall space to avoid light gaps. Your blind will be made up to ½” more that ordered width depending on vendor (on roller shades the material of the shade may be 1 1/8” – 1 1/2” less).

Flat Panel Roman Shades offer a modern, tailored look. In the lowered position, the fabric hangs smoothly. When raised, the folds gather at the head rail. We are unable to align the fabric folds on side by side flat panel shades. The head rail, cords and ribs/fabric support system are white. The bottom rail is fabric wrapped except for cordless shades.
Hobbled Roman Shades are available only with the following fabrics: Natural Weave, Woven Stripe and Natural Linens. Hobbled Roman Shades incorporate the sculptural qualities of a traditional Roman shade to add dimension and interest to your windows. When raised, the fabric folds gather at the head rail. All Hobbled Roman Shades feature a spacer clip and ladder cord. The clip slides in from the end of the rib and ensures a permanent hold. The ladder cord engages within the clip, setting a secure hobble. The head rail, cords and ribs/fabric support system are white. The bottom rail is fabric wrapped except for cordless shades.

Top Down - Bottom Up Shades are designed to maintain privacy while still allowing an outside view. Top Down - Bottom Up Shades are made with two operating cord locks, one on the left and one on the right side of shade. The right cord lowers the middle rail and left cord raises the bottom rail.
Cordless Top Down- Bottom Up Roman Shades feature middle and bottom rails which can be moved easily with a push or pull of the rail.

Continuous Cord Loop Shades have an integrated clutch locking system that utilizes a continuous loop pull cord. The shade will automatically stop and lock in position when the cord is released.
Cordless Roman Shades feature easy and precise control with the push or pull of the bottom rail. No visible or dangling operating cords for a clean, contemporary look.
Somfy Wireless Motorization Good Housekeeping Roman Shades are motorized using the Somfy™ Radio Technology (RTS) System. The motors will fully operate the shades with radio frequency technology.

Valance

Each Good Housekeeping Roman Shade, regardless of hardware system, comes standard with its own 3” matching fabric valance. Inside mount Good Housekeeping Roman Shade valances are built without returns. All outside mount Good Housekeeping Roman Shades will come standard with a valance that includes 2½” valance returns. The valance returns wrap around the face of the valance concealing the ends of the head rail for a more finished look. The valance can be ordered without returns for outside mount applications when desired. Custom return sizes and inside mount valances with returns are not available. The valance is attached to the head rail using valance brackets for a secure hold and easy installation. The valance bracket nests between the shade bracket and window sill or wall. When the shade is raised, the fabric gathers beneath the valance for a unique, stacked appearance.
A fabric head rail insert strip is available on Continuous Cord Loop and Cordless Shades instead of the standard 3” fabric valance. Please indicate when ordering.
Fabric Wrapped Bottom Rail

Fabric wrapped bottom rail is standard on all Good Housekeeping Roman Shades except Cordless and Cordless Top Down-Bottom Up Shades. The shade fabric is wrapped around an elliptical grooved rail. Two clear plastic end caps secure the fabric in place. The standard rail color is white.
Privacy Liners

Roman Shade Privacy Liner provides additional light control and privacy when applied to the back
of the shade. Roman Privacy Liners are available with select fabrics, see page 41 for availability. Privacy Liners are available with light filtering or room darkening opacities. Please specify when
ordering. Liners are available on the following hardware options: Standard Rectangular, Continuous Cord Loop and Cordless. Liners are available with both Flat and Hobbled style shades. The shade lift cords are enclosed behind the Roman Privacy Liner for a clean, uncluttered look.
