Inside Mount: Please provide the exact measurements of the inside of your window from jam to jam and the factory will make the necessary deductions (up to 1/2" depending on the type of blinds) to ensure the proper operation of your blinds as well as to accommodate for brackets, headrail and valances (on roller shades the materials may be 1 1/8" - 1 1/2" inch less than the opening)
Outside Mounts: Please provide the exact measurements of the area you would like your blinds to cover including wall space to avoid light gaps. Your blind will be made up to ½” more that ordered width depending on vendor (on roller shades the material of the shade may be 1 1/8” – 1 1/2” less).

Valance Type

Standard Valance: The Standard Valance is a 3 ½" wide grooved channel that contains the same fabric as the shade.
NOTE: For patterns where there are vertical lines, these lines will run horizontally in the valance.
Cassette: A cassette is an enclosed valance with a curved front panel, with a matching strip of material/fabric inserted across the face of the cassette. The cassette comes in two sizes, determined by the size of the shade and the thickness of the fabric.
NOTE: The Cassette Valance is preselected for each fabric. It is available in four colors: white, black, brown and brushed aluminum.
Hem Style

Straight: Comes with a bottom bar. Free of charge. Specialty Hem with Gimp: Comes with a hem shape and gimp of your choice.
Beaded Chain Type

Standard Corded Clutch system allows perfect positioning of the shade at any height. Pull only the cord to adjust the shade, keeping the fabric clean and undamaged.
Roll Type
Help Me Decide
Standard Roll: Fabric rolls off the back of the shade. Ideal for room darkening situations as the material will be back towards the window for an inside mount or the wall for an outside mount.
Reverse Roll: Fabric is rolled so that it hangs off the front of the roll.
NOTE: Reverse roll is not available with the Cassette Valance option.
Measure Type

Specify if your width measurement is the total shade width you desire (tip to tip) of the width of the fabric (cloth to cloth). The cloth to cloth measurement is 1 3/8" less than the tip to tip measurement.
Fabric Turned (width for height)
Help Me Decide
Fabric Turned: Fabric can be turned 90 degrees clockwise to accomodate wider windows, however, the height is then restricted. If the height is greater than the maximum width at normal orientation a seam across the width of the shade occurring as close to the top as possible. When displaying multiple shades in the same room, we recommend all shades to be ordered with the same fabric orientation for a consistent look.
Extension Brackets

Projects the back of the shade up to 2 3/8" from mounting surface and requires 2" flat surface. Free of charge.
Hold Down Brackets
Help Me Decide
Mounted on wall or door to support the bottom rail of the blind, preventing the blind from swaying. Recommended for French Doors or for blinds you will never raise/lower.
Spacer Blocks
Help Me Decide
Spacer blocks are normally used on outside mount blinds to avoid obstructions such as the window molding. The spacer block is installed between the wall and the mounting bracket.

Bottom Bar Material: Material is determined by the weight needed to make the fabric hang straight. This may be either anodized aluminum or a white vinyl bar.
*Each collection is rated for privacy. Privacy ranges from 1 (Sheer) to 5 (Room Darkening). Most fabric privacy levels are slightly greater in darker colors.

Care Instructions: Periodically vacuum with a brush attachment to ensure lasting beauty. With proper care and maintenance, roller shades should last for years. Use a mild detergent solution to dab any stains. Test solution is an inconspicuous area before cleaning.

Measuring:
Inside Mount: Please provide us with your exact measurements. Please specify if your width measurement is the total shade width you desire (tip to tip) or the width of the fabric (cloth to cloth). Outside Mount: Please provide us with the exact measurements of the area you want to cover. It is recommended that 3” be added to the total width to ensure full coverage. Please specify if your width measurement is the total shade width (tip to tip) or the width of the fabric (cloth to cloth). The cloth to cloth measurement is 1 3/8” less than the tip to tip measurement.

*Fabric is turned 90 degrees. Fabric will be railroaded for any shade width exceeding 84”. Please be advised that if there are multiple shades in one room, we recommended that if at least one shade is railroaded, that all shades be railroaded to ensure a uniform look.

Brackets
- Universal Brackets: Bracket material is painted steel and can be mounted behind or above the shade.
- Extension Brackets: Projects the shade 1 1/8” from the mounting surface to clear obstructions. This is only available on shades smaller than 60” x 70”.
Valance Options
- Standard: 3 ½” wide groover channel that contains the same fabric as the blind. Please note that for patterns where there are vertical lines, these lines will run horizontally in the valance.
- Fascia: An aluminum cassette style system that completely conceals all hardware. This is available with 3 different finishes (White, Silver, or Brown). The dimensions are 4 1/8” x 4 1/8”. The bottom of the fascia protrudes back 2 7/8” from the front of the valance.
Hem Options
- Straight Hem
- Decorative Hems: Choose from a variety of different styles. Each hem must be finished with either a trim or fringe color. The trim is placed directly on the edge of the scallop while the 1” fringe hangs over the edge of the scallop. Scalloped hems are approximately 4” of length to the roller shade and do not roll up in the shade. Please note that the total shade height is measured from the top of the scallop.
Control Options
- Standard Corded Clutch Control: This system allows perfect positioning of the shade at any height. Pull on the cord to adjust the shade, keeping the fabric clean and undamaged. The cord color is determined by predetermined clutch and end cap color (either white, black or stainless steel). However, you may choose the stainless steel chain for any shade (this must be specified on the order)
Roll Options
- Standard Roll: Roll is visible in the front.
- Reverse Roll: Roll is concealed because the fabric is rolled so that it hangs off the front of the roll. This feature is not available with the Fascia Valance option.
