Inside Mount: Please provide the exact measurements of the inside of your window from jam to jam and the factory will make the necessary deductions (up to 1/2" depending on the type of blinds) to ensure the proper operation of your blinds as well as to accommodate for brackets, headrail and valances (on roller shades the materials may be 1 1/8" - 1 1/2" inch less than the opening)
Outside Mounts: Please provide the exact measurements of the area you would like your blinds to cover including wall space to avoid light gaps. Your blind will be made up to ½” more that ordered width depending on vendor (on roller shades the material of the shade may be 1 1/8” – 1 1/2” less).

Louvers are the horizontal slats that
comprise the central structure of the shutter and are angled to admit light and
air, but to keep out rain, direct sunshine, and noise. The angle of the louvers
is adjustable and they are available in slat size 2.5, 3.5 and 4.5 inches.
Smaller louvers, used in “plantation” style shutters, provide a traditional
design while larger widths are perfect for large rooms or a more contemprary
setting. Choosing larger louvers will provide you with a better viewing
clearance when in the open position.

Standard Folding: From the coziest kitchen window to floor-to-ceiling vistas, Mirasol will craft an elegant, high-quality shutter for any rectangle or square window. Cafe Style: Designed to cover the window’s lower portion, café shutters allow for full, natural light while maintaining privacy. This option is perfect for windows facing high-traffic areas like sidewalks and golf courses, letting you enjoy room-brightening sunshine with your privacy.
Double Hung: Double hung shutters feature independently operating panels mounted one over the other. They provide versatile light and privacy control, but they tend to sag in large applications. Unfortunately, Mirasol cannot defy the laws of gravity, so typically double hung combinations are specified for smaller windows.
Bi-Pass Slider: For larger windows and sliding glass patio doors, Mirasol''s sliding bi-pass shutter provided functional elegance. Requiring minimal space to glide open and closed, bi-pass shutters are the preferred track sustem solution.
Bi-Fold Slider: Occasionally used as an alternate to bi-pass shutter, bi-fold shutters are yet another option for larger window applications.

Divider Rail
Help Me Decide
Divider rails seperate the top and bottom sections on your shutters to give you independent operation, additional privacy and total light control. A divider rail also adds strength to larger panels. creates more light control by separating the louvers into 2 sections. By default, the divider rail is placed at the half way point of the shutter height (if you would like to specify where the divideer rail is located please call us or notate under special instructions). One divider rail is required for shutters over 72" high and two divider rails are required for shutters over 96" high.

Tilt Rod

Front to Tilt Rod: The tilt bar is positioned in the middle of the panel.
Louvers can be opened or closed in both directions, unlike other shutters which
are one-directional only. This method has eliminated unsightly gears or staples
which tend to rust or break.
Rear to Tilt Rod (ClearView): There is no tilt bar. There are clearview
joiners that hold the louvers together at the back of the panel.

Contoured Arch (call for pricing): Presenting the most uniform look both inside and out contoured arch shutters feature louvers cut and shaped into the entire arch. The contoured arch is easily the most popular choice for an arch window treatment.
Solid Top: A lower-cost alternative to the contoured arch, the solid-top arch is perfect for subtle arch rises. It features an extra tall top rail and fits arch tops with a maximum rise of no more than 15 inches.
