I like the overall blind. I would have liked them to be a bit heavier. Unless you have a tie down on the window sill the blind will retract at least 1/4 of the way up the window. I have similar blinds on other windows that do not need a tie down to keep them at the base of the window.

We got these blinds with the top-down, bottom-up feature for all of our second floor windows. We have a four-bedroom four bath home and this was a great purchase. The rooms are cooler and these blinds look great. A small swatch or a photo on the web doesn't do them justice. You should actually go down to a showroom and hold these up against the light to get an idea of what they will look like (see if you want to match with wall color or trim/molding). Unbeatable prices and a designer look. Go see some blinds in a store, order the free samples, hold them up against your windows, do your research and after you know what you need, search whether steve's blinds carrys the same blind under their name (by code). Be careful (double check measurements) to measure according to the instructions online only. Do not add or subtract, because these blinds fit exactly the way they should.

I bought eight of the blinds--one was 116". They arrived well packed, quality was great, were exactly what I ordered, installed well, and look perfect! The order was missing some hardware, but I called, and it arrived in 5 days.

The color is exactly like I wanted, excellent custom workmanship. I am totally happy with this purchase. Hint: Read all the measurement instructions so that you get exactly the look you want. I followed them and really thought about spacing and length before I ordered. It paid off because they came out perfectly.

I built a new home and at the time purchased a name brand blind for certain rooms just to get by but skipped the dining room due to the cost. After finding Steves websit I purchased the long awaited blinds for the dining room at an awesome price and love everything about them - I prefer these over the name brand blinds that are in the other rooms!!

I bought the blinds for a large picture window in my living room. I wasn't sure about buying an off brand, I have expensive Bali honeycomb blinds in my kitchen. The Steve's brand far exceded all of my expectations. I like my new blinds as well,if not better than my Bali blinds.
