The 1" wood painted blinds are great. I like the magnetic connector for the trim piece that covers the head rail. Blinds were easy to install and affordable. I expect long service from these blinds. [...]

The blinds fit perfectly and are substantial enough to hold up to a cat that climbs and swings on them which is the main reason I replaced our metal blinds. Ingenious design for attaching the valence. They are a definite improvement, looking more attractive and bright than the aluminum blinds they replaced. Thanks for a good price and quality too.

The mounting bracket holes are not made to be able to drill pilot holes. Not enough clearance for drill. Should be a left and right.

The manufacturer should charge another 10 cents and provide good quality, Phillips-head screws. The included blade-head screws were throw-aways. The symmetrical (reversible) mounting brackets are a plus for DIY installers.

These blinds are so much more attractive than their pictures, the samples are great to decide what works. I ordered the natural wood and the cloud, they are gorgeous and very much admired by people who only have vinyl blinds who want to know where I got them and think they cant afford real wood blinds. They accent my home beautifully, are well-made and sturdy. I have purchased vinyl blinds from Steve's before, the service is great, the turnaround time short and the customer service there for you all the time. I would recommend Steve's in general and these blinds in particular.

The wooden blinds were very nice. There is little or NO instructions to installing blinds. The screws sent did not match up with holes provided. The blind holders are cheap plastic and can break easily. Not one extra piece was included. I had to purchase other screws because the ones provided did not fit in the plastic holder. A power screw driver is needed and an extension holder to fit inside plastic piece.
Once we paid for new screws, charged our power drill, bought a screw driver extension to be able to fit inside the plastic piece...we were finally able to install the blinds.
The blinds are well made for the money and for what we needed. The accessories and hardware are cheap.

Producted worked as discribed , easy to install . I think next time I order I will round the edges my self ( drum sander ) and whip the edge with stain.

Everything is great about these blinds. This is the only place I could find 1" wood blinds and since I purchased them on a "special" no way could I have found them less expensive. I have had many compliments on how "warm" my kitchen looks. Color choice was perfect[without a sample]. Thank You STEVE'S.

These 1" wood blinds are the 3rd set and style of blinds I have purchased from Steve's. They are very easy to install, the measurement is perfect and they work very well. I am planning on pruchasing blinds for 5 more windows.

I like the blinds but it seems like the slats do not close tightly whether they are turned up or turned down they do not close tightly
