I'm very happy with my sheer vertical blinds. I was able to pick just the right material with the use of the free samplers. They cut the glare of the sun when they are pulled closed but with the vanes open. They also block the light for sleeping with the vanes closed. Considering all the options I considered I am very pleased with my choice.

When my husband and I went into the store to order the blinds,we showed the salesperson EXACTLY what we wanted to order. We thought she understood what we wanted and when she went over the order with us,we understood it was EXACTLY what we had visually showed her hanging on the display. When we received the blinds,the cloth part was missing. When I called to inquire about it I was told that's what we had ordered. After a couple of calls between us and the store, Steve's sent us the cloth portion of the order without charging us. We though it was very gratious. When we went to install the blinds, however, parts were missing. After MANY calls and a couple of months later of sending us the same wrong part they finally got it right. The blinds are beautiful,but make sure your salesperson understands EXACTLY what you want.

We have patio doors with windows on each side. Area equal to 2 patio doors side by side. Custom drapes were major bucks. Steve's are perfect. The look of a curtain with the advantages of vertical blinds. I hate vertical blinds, love these. We saved over 50%.

Now that it is installed we are very pleased. Thought it would be a problem with our dog but happily it's not. I would always view samples first since each person has their own interpretation of color values. Customer service was helpful but we did have to go above the supervisory level to obtain a replacement. I did my entire new home with Steve's Blinds for the second time. I did save a lot of money and I did use a service provider they recommended to measure and install. All things said I do believe you get the best value here.

Installed in my living room and satisfied but not thrilled. Should have gotten a lighter color. I mounted mine inside the window casing and the side vanes don't extend to the edges, leaving an unattractive gap.

My family room is beautiful. The windows alone make it a full "make-over". The 8 foot door has the dressiness of sheers and the day-to-day light adjustment of a blind. I chose light filtering so I still have sun on a sunny day but I have privacy. The vanes are plastic but are not noisy at all with the sheer covering. At first I had trouble matching my other windows but I used Infinity 2" with soft fabric vanes that matched well. Ask for samples of swatches. Steve's is a Good value and service is excellent. Installation needed 2 people to make things go smoothly and after the first few vanes, it went quickly.

Ideal for large windows without adding too much weight. Light filtering and softening provides enough privacy without restricting view.
