Worth the price and much nicer than I expected. My installer was impressed with the quality of the shades and the ease of hanging them. My poor arthritic hands do have some trouble raising them as they are substantial. But that's just me. All in all I would definitely recommend to friends. I was skeptical to order these blinds with the remote control feature but wow they all fit perfectly and the remote features are great. So easy to install and program. I had all 20 blinds installed and operating perfectly in less than 5 hours. All this at less than half the price of local suppliers.

Probably would have purchased the style with pull cords if operation difficulties would have been mentioned. They are cumbersome to get down and then getting them back up ...... Oh well. It was just pull cords would have been more difficult to access in two cases.

These blinds have made a huge difference in our ability to keep our upstairs cool in the summer.The windows face south and have always made keeping the rooms comfortable nearly impossible. The darkening shades work. We also have the up-down down-up feature that works pretty well, not quite as smooth as I think they should, but we are still happy.[...]We were not able to get samples in all the colors we wanted to look at, but we were looking at mostly neutral shades and we are very happy with the way they don't clash.The shades vacuum easily and hide whatever I miss.

The price and quality of these blinds are unbeatable. I had been searching for blinds for a long time but they always were priced out of my range. These are great for blocking out the morning sun in the summer which helps to keep the house cool. They're also great in the winter to keep the heat inside.

All 12 went up the same night, no problem with installation. Lowering from the top allows light in but privacy from the neighbors. For complete darkness, install on the outside of the window frame. We placed ours inside and a thin streak of light can be seen on either side. Great price and construction except cords are thin and a couple have been returned to be restrung.

Absolutely love my blackout blind! I have a large west window and it gets VERY hot in the summer, so this was a great investment! I had ordered it with exact dimensions and it fit perfectly! You will not be disappointed with Steve's products!

These blinds are great for blocking out light and look great! The also have help with temperature control. However, they are 100 inches long. This makes them difficult to open as they are quite heavy and open crooked. They often fall off the brackets to which they are installed due to the weight when opening.I even put two brackets near the cord as the instructions recommend. I would purchase these blinds again but for a smaller window.

We priced a very similar shade from a local company for twice the money. Our shade was exactly what we needed at a bargain price. We will use Steve Blinds again when the need arises.

On my first order of these coreless cellular black out shades. I was a little dissapointed, being a little short on the sides,letting light in. When I called about this being an issue, they suggested to reorder and instead of saying inside measurements ..say outside then include inside brackets.
I wish the sale's person had suggested that I buy the side tracks..it would of saved me a lot of money.
All and all I love the way they look and mostly block the morning light.
I'll be ordering 3 -4 more of the same shades. For our new home in Oct.
First time buyers call*** ask the operator for help measuring.

I purchased this product in order to block light in my master bedroom and to accent wood trim moldings and new paint color. It turned out excellent.

These are perfect for a media room where you need darkness in daytime. They are heavy because mine are so wide, which makes it kind of hard to retract because of my arthritic hands. Otherwise, perfect!

These shades block out light really well, but I'm having a hard time with the pulls- the shade doesn't come down very well- I always have to help it because it gets stuck.

I wanted a blind that was superior in energy efficiency. This blind did the trick. I ordered it with the side rails, and as others had reported there is a very slight amount of light that is able to enter. I would characterize as a sliver of subdued light, not sufficient enough to really make any difference. I mean when I walk into the room in broad daylight with the blind closed, it is still pitch black in there. This slight amount of light does not detract from the designed form and function of the blind and I would purchase another one after seeing how this one works.

I have only had the blind for a couple of weeks, so I cannot comment on total quality after repeated use. However upon initial inspection it did appear to be adequate enough to inspire me to purchase another from Steve's.

I would recommend Steve's.

We ordered these for a bedroom window- they definitely block the light well and are of great quality. Take into consideration the size of your window- ours is about 88"wide x 55"tall- the blind is super heavy and therefore bends when lifting and sometimes slides back down somewhat- would choose another option knowing that.

Length was a bit short (make sure you give an extra few inches on length… Glad I did!) and a bit stiff opening and closing. Quality is ok for cost… Overall, happy with purchase.
