We just bought thousands of dollars of blinds in early 2009 to update our home. Soon after we found out I was pregnant with twins and one of the cribs would have to go next to the window wall. We were not thrilled with having to purchase a new blind without a cord so soon but nor could we imagine the consequences of not doing so. I was thrilled to find this website and I am even more excited about the price and quality of our cordless blind. We now sleep knowing we will not awaken to a catastrophe in the morning- instead we wake to a smiling face! The blind is well constructed and easy to use.

The shades were everything we hoped for. We live in Gulfport, MS and it is hot and humid. The shades have helped us lower our electric bill.

These blinds compare to the more expensive, store brands we have in other rooms. They cut the cold air coming in and made our house so much easier to heat. I like the retractable shades that are free of pull chords.

We bought 11 shades. My favorite is the wide one that covers a set of two windows. We only have had one problem with one that wouldn't retract. The cord got tangled in the rewind mechanism. We had to ship it to LA for repairs. We haven't had them long enough to know if they are same quality as the other, higher priced blinds we have on other windows.

Everything is great except I was surprised when my order arrived and only the inside was the color I had ordered and the outside was white. I was expecting same color inside and out.

Nice for first floor bathroom. We can allow light in on the top with the top\down style of blinds, and the transaparancy of the blinds itself also allows adequate sunlight in. We got the cream color, perfect tone.

Ordered 4 the same length; 2 were 2 inches shorter than the other two (When pulled out.)

Used it in a bathroom window that is short but quite wide. Like the cordless features as space limited. Seems to work very well for us--providing some light yet keeping out the direct sun. Since we haven't had it that long I don't know how it will last but it seems to be well constructed.

I had problems with the large shade I ordered. It got "stuck" in the down position and couldn't get it to go back up. I contacted Steve's and they fixed it = no problem. Now the smaller shade I had ordered won't stay down; keeps rolling back up. I have contacted Steves once again and I know they will give me the same great service as before.

The blinds arrived exactly when promised. They were easy to install and look beautiful in our living and dining rooms. In addition, we have noticed a significant reduction in the cold coming into the room since we installed them. The raising/lowering mechanisms are smooth and the colors were very true to the onscreen presentation. This is the second time I buy blinds from Steve and will certainly do so again when I am ready to purchase more.

I ordered same size as I previously purchased from a different provider. This time the Blinds just barely fit into the opening, and the cord connector will not stay together. On the 2nd window I had to sand down the texturing around the window inorder to operate it.
