We used these blinds in our church offices. They cut glare but still allow us to see the outside world. Perfect! And very attractive.

Product was perfect with the exception they were rolled backwards but that was easy to correct.

We needed blinds for our great room that features 3 glass doors with a beautiful view. The glass doors face northwest, so in the late afternoon the room can get hot in the summer. Also, the wood floors and dinning table were exposed to the heat and light. We wanted shades that were unobtrusive so as not to impair the view when not in use, but effective in reducing light and heat in the afternoons. The 10% solar shades fit the bill perfectly. They keep the room cooler during the afternoon and provide privacy during the evening. Since we got the Spring roller mechanism, it's very unobtrusive. Most of our guests don't even know they're there until we pull them down. We had heard that spring rollers were problematic for large shades, but we haven't had problems so far (since July 2). We're very happy with the shades.

I have solar shades in my living room. They are made well, and I love the way they roll up and down with just a pull.

They are perfect for my application, and the samples I ordered prior to my purchase matched the actual shade.

I took awhile for me to get them. But when they were delivered I was pleased with them

The architectural valance makes the shade almost invisible when it is not being used. This makes it possible to install the shades in formal rooms.

These are installed in the dining room which is in the front of the house. I can pull them down to block the sun in summer and still see what's going on outside. In the winter they're rolled up all the way during the day to let the sun in then pulled down late in the day to keep the heat in the house. The shades are nice looking whether up or down. One thing to note... you can see thru the shade to whatever side is the brightest. Example- When you're in the house and it's light outside you can see outside, if dark out you can't easily see thru but others can see in if you have the lights on. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and the pattern/color: Honeycomb / Brown Sugar (purchased from viewing color online, did not want to wait for samples).

Very nice sleek contemporary look. Lets the view of muted trees and water in but gives me enough privacy and helps block the heat from the sun on my single pane windows.

I was looking for something for our patio that gets a lot of sun in the afternoon. We use to not be able to sit out on the patio due to this...now...with these blinds...the patio is shaded and cool! Would recommend these blinds!

Installed in a bedroom (beige). Only problem is you can see into the window at night. Had to add an additional curtain for more privacy. Would purchase a darker color next time.

We bought the Jade color for the living room and dining room. Even my un-handy husband was able to install them in the living room so installation was a breeze. These are absolutely beautiful blinds-much better quality than I expected for the price. They block your activities inside & the light well during the day while letting you view what's going on outside. However, at the 10% openness, you can see right into the house at night with the lights on, so make sure to draw the curtains. I wish this would have been included in the description. Also, the continous loop mechanism could be a little smoother. Not difficult per se, but could be better. I have not determined their energy savings yet. Don't buy your blinds anywhere else!!...I'll be a Steve's Wallpaper and Blind customer from now on.

Delivery was a little slower than I had hoped but it was around a holiday so what can do. Packaging was very good and product was in perfect shape.

The product is great but could look better if installed with clear pictured instructions. As is they are slightly askew. We had to improvise until we accidentally discovered the way to complete the installation.

We recently purchased a home on the coast of Mississippi that has a sunroom which faces the water and receives full afternoon sun. We ordered 3 large window Solar Shades, then 2 more smaller window shades, and then we ordered them for the whole upstairs. They have made a difference in the amount of sunlight coming in as well as reducing the temperature. I did not want anything to interfere with the view of the water and these shades still allow me to see outside with very little distortion. They were easy to install and we are very pleased.

We have a 4 panel sliding window/doors in our living room where we watch TV. Before, with the curtains open there was a glare on the TV making it impossible to view and with them closed I missed our beautiful view of the beach. The 10% openness of these solar shades solved the problem beautifully. Not to mention the prices at "Steve's Blinds" was the only way I could afford to cover those windows. Thanks Steve for a quality product at affordable prices. I'll be back.

Overall, a good product. I didn't care too much for the bottom bar design-very plain. I have other blinds (purchased elsewhere) and the bottom bar is much nicer, on the outside of the blind, for a more finished look, rather than just a flat weight sewn inside the bottom hem. But overall, I was pleased, the blinds fit, function well, and were shipped quickly to Canada. I will continue to shop for the best value and price I can find, as I have more blinds to order.
