Construction was somewhat flimsy, and blinds are difficult to clean without damaging -- but that's the way 1/2" mini=blinds are.

The purchase, delivery & installation were easy as expected - I am surprised how much the new blinds help to retain heat & isolate from the cold outside.

I moved into a house in September 2012 with completely naked windows - only previous drill holes remained. At the time I was working about 60 hours a week and had no time to shop for window coverings - but thanks to the internet I was able to poke around until I found this website. After looking through the website I decided to begin ordering blinds - I started with just two windows. When the blinds arrived (very speedy, within 5 days of ordering), the hardware included with the blinds installed into the existing holes and within minutes I had these blinds installed. The whole process went so smoothly that I ordered blinds for the rest of the house.

As I have had no problems with my blinds, I have had no contact with customer service, so cannot comment there. Packaging was excellent and although the boxes the blinds came in were dinged up, the blinds themselves were well packaged and protected. Instructions on Steve's website tells how to measure for you blinds. The blinds themselves appear to be of high quality and they do everything they have to do with ease! I have had a 100% positive experiences with this company and I would encourage others to order from here as well!

My husband did a great job of installing these shades perfectly over the windows in our doors. The privacy is great, and the muted grey color blends really well with the room design.
