Theses blinds do not roll up that nicely. I also should have ordered a 10 % openess. I think it will get too warm in summer with the open weave.

I like outside views but was having issues with bright bright sun damaging furniture and blinding. Westerly sun at certain times of day does hit and bother eyes. Greratly improved though.

Our deck has been enclosed and has six windows with screens. The blinds screen the sun wherever we want without restricting air flow and resist the rain if the window is left open.

I remodeled my Real Estate Office and also added two additional offices to the building. These blinds block the sun glare but still allow light and also visibility out. I'm very pleased with the product.
I had also purchased blinds from Steve's a few years ago for our home which is on a golf course, they work great without loosing our view.

I purchased these for large windows on my restuarant/bar. I wanted to option of letting light in so chose these instead of getting the windows tinted. They are great! My building gets sun all day so its great to pull them down for my customers so they dont get blasted in the eyes with sun.Also keeps the temp lower in the summer, and adds privacy at night, great buy!

I purchased the 14% solar roller shade in white and the 10% solar roller shade in off white for another room. There isn't too much of a difference between the 10% and 14% in regards to how much sun the blinds block. The 10% does feel a little heavier. I am using the 14% in my laundry room and the 10% over my kitchen sink window. I didn't want to purchase a fabric blind for my kitchen sink window as I was concerned about water splashing from the sink. And I didn't want a horizontal slat blind that I would have to dust. I also did not want a blind that blocked all the sunlight entering the room. These work well for my use. I was aware that these type of blinds would not provide total privacy at night, however, the rooms do not require total privacy at night. For example, at night from the outside looking in, one can see a shadow of a person standing at the sink, but not much more. During the day I am still able to see shadows of the trees outside and the blind still lets some light in. The blinds have a nice texture to them. They are not metal...they have a sort of cloth/plastic feel to them. It's nice. The blind gives my kitchen and laundry room a clean uncluttered look at an affordable price. Again, I would buy these again but NOT for a room that requires total privacy.

We needed solar control for summer heat and the sun was bleaching the rugs, pictures, etc., but we wanted our view of the mountains. First time we bought 11 shades to try them out. This time around; 17 more completed the whole house.
Using two 4' wide shades we covered the sliding glass doors and with one shade down and one up, we are able to use the doors.
No where and I mean no where will you find better prices.

I bought the thermal blinds to repel heat from the grueling Arizona sun and lower electricity costs. I set them up by myself and am super pleased with how they look and how well they provide privacy during the day (you can't see in the house at all when the sun is out). I highly recommend these products, especially for such a great price and great quality.

Excellent sun shades. Cuts temperature in my front room by 10 degrees. Total privacy, but does not block view out of my bow window. Husband, dog, electric bill much happier! Looking for similar options for my sliding glass deck doors next...

We have a small cabin at about 8,700 ft altitude with several large SW facing windows. We wanted something economical but also needed something to limit the solar gain in the summer without blocking our view. So far, these seem to be exactly what we hoped they might be. They don't cut the heat completely, but they work as well as the (view blocking) reflective blinds that were up. If we were going to order these for our main home, we'd likely upgrade just a bit and get blinds with a continuous loop control only because it seems like it would be easier to control getting adjacent shades at exactly the same height if lowering only partially. For the price though, these are perfect! While the fabric is not fancy with texture and/or designs, it does hang nicely and it looks like it'll be easy to wipe clean. We're very pleased.

These shades definitely cut the sunshine and keep out both the heat and cold. If I ordered again, I would go more opaque; you can easily see in at night. My only complaint is that one edge of each blind is not even. For the wonderful price, I can live with it.

This solar screen for thepatio door completed the coverings for our living/dining room. We get more light intothe room now that the curtains are open all the way and remain so no matter how bright the sun is. Visibility is as good as without the solar screens.

Sure makes the porch a whole lot better looking. The chocolate color is pretty, and we can still see our beautiful trees beyond. I wish the bottom rods were heavier to prevent the shades from blowing in the wind. They are mounted on the inside, with insect screen 4" beyond them... no window. We'll see how they stand up, not being marketed for outdoor use.

The product is great and I've even ordered more blinds. The only think that annoys me is on the website - a floating and talking Steve is distracting from the task at hand.

Due to the big rolls, it's better to cover them.

For pulling up and down, a hitch will be a solution.
