We live in Florida and our enclosed, air conditioned lanai faces west. Prior to putting up the solar shades we had to close our hurricane shutters because the setting sun was so bright. The solar shades keep the room cooler and greatly reduce the glare from the sun without darkening the room too much.

Would usually not spend this much on shades. However this shades decreased the heat in my rooms as I needed. My apartment has a western exposure and during the summer the sun heated the apartment considerably. I tried to be green and avoid AC. These shades delivered what they promised. I still have my view without the added heat.

This product is very stylish and attractive. Customer service has been great. Some of my blinds had/have some wrinkles while open and they sent me a replacement for one, the rest are pending. I am very pleased with this product over all. I do not give it a five start rating because I have no privacy at night. I ordered 3% openness and at night you can see everything inside the house. I will have to put curtains for privacy. Very good product to block the sun. I love how I can still see outside during the day, and at this time people can not see inside.

The blind is on our family room window and we love it and you can see out but from the outside you can not see in. We love the service and had no problems with anything.

I purchased the solar shades to block out sunlight and glare on my computer screen, they work great. they are easy to install and easy to keep clean. so much better than the traditional mini blind.

My kitchen window faces west and recieves blinding sun light in the morning. In summer there is considerable heating associated with this sun light. The blind eliminated most of this but still allows onw ro view the scene from the window.
There is a great colour choice that allowd me to match my the colour scheme in the kitchen

The difference in the temperature of our west-facing sunporch is awesome. I will no doubt save

Recently remodelled 46 year old ranch with 5 large windows facing East. Shades were shiny, hard to operate, and basically UGLY! Had been searching for a replacement solution but did not want to spend an outrageous amount. Happened to find Steve's Blinds on the Internet, called, and spoke to a very helpful sales representative. After careful measurement, placed my order for 5 shades in the charcoal colour. They look wonderful, are less noticeable than the old ones, and have really made a difference with keeping the temperature down in a room with so much sunlight. We are very happy with our purchase, and the price!

I liked the quality of the shade and hardware, but it was a bit difficult to install. The mounting bracket screws need to be longer for a better hold. It totally dimishes the afternoon glare of the sun, and we can tell a good difference in the temperature of the kitchen. The shipping response time was good, the product was as advertised, was delivered as ordered and well packaged. I would not hesitate to order from your company again.

I was looking for a black shade that allowed the sunlight into my bright kitchen but provided some privacy at night. Black light-filtering shade samples I ordered appeared to be more like black-out shades. These shades are not purported to give privacy and they definitely do not, however they are very well constructed, filter the sun nicely and give my kitchen an updated look. Also, I am not bothered with dust accumulating as I was with the mini-blinds that was there previously. Simple curtain panels that I can pull close at night solve my privacy issue.

The solar shades were installed in a newly renovated Senior Center and they are amazing. They ground the room and are the perfect backdrop for the drapery panels that hang on each side. They are a huge hit and you should be getting orders from a number of people who fell in love with the look, feel, simplicity and understated elegance these shades exude. Pricing could not have been any more reasonable. I will be purchasing additional shades once the offices and recreational room are completed. Thank you Steve.
