I wanted the same look in both my kitchen windows. Previously I had a shade with hanging cords that looked so unattractive. So I decided to go with a crisp larger slat cordless mini blind. So glad I did!

Blinds were an excellent option for blocking the hot sun on summer afternoons in our kitchen. Really liked the brushed aluminum finish to coordinate with our stainless steel appliances.

Love the blinds but had a challenge using the template included for an inside window. Seems the template is for an "exact" inside fit and as mine were about 1/8" off of an exact fit, using the template created a situation where the brackets bumped into the blind's header raise/lower components. After seeing what was wrong, I added 1/4" to the template and everything worked fine.

This 1 3/8" aluminum mini blinds were replacements for the same blinds that were over 10 years old. The price was so good, it was easier to buy new ones than clean the slats and repair some of the cords.

I absolutely love the product and have had many compliments when showing off bedroom. However, I needed to take them down to clean window and replace a glass.....very difficult to remove from brackets. Also, I ordered 2 blinds and they came with two different types of brackets so getting them even/level took some thinking.

I loved being able to raise or lower the blind without all the "strings", or having it uneven. Super easy to handle.

We have put these blinds in 5 rooms so far. Installation is a breeze. We like the ability to control the light coming in to prevent furniture fading & then being able to open up as the sun passes. At night they provide complete privacy. While it remains to be seen how durable it proves to be, the cordless pull system does present a much cleaner look. If they hold up as well as our previous Levelors (20+ years) we'll be extemely happy.

I did have to make my own cardboard template to install the brackets further from the ends of the header. I had ordered the cord and wand on the same side and the template included would not leave enough clearance to install the bracket.

Other than that, I could not be happier with the blinds. They look great....love the color and the new texture, as well as the new 1 3/8" slats! A great upgrade to my kitchen at a great price from Steve's. Thank you Steve's Blinds!!

The look of the 1 3/8" slats is prefect - just the look I wanted. The 1" are so small and you get so many slats on a blind and the 2" were too deep for my application. I really like them and am satisfied with the choice.
On the down side, we got inside mounts for these blinds and the brackets provided for these blinds were a total pain. OMG we had such a problem installing them, then when trying to remove the blind to make an adjustment was impossible. We were frazzeled. We felt totally incapable. I think the directions on installing the brackets should also make note to pay attention to what is inside the top of the blind so that you don't try to install the bracket where it can't hold on due to interference inside.

Love these blinds (I had bought them before) not only for the looks and quality but especially the cordless feature!! That is why I made sure I bought them again....installation was somewhat difficult and I had my neighbor who installs these as a second job do the installation!

Funny thing that you send me a e-mail so long after I recieved my blind. I know you probably won't send this on to anybody who cares ,, But,, I was sick at the time I got my blind and needed it up soon,and ever since I put it up , it will not hang even at the bottom , one side is about 2" higher on the left side ,, which makes me crazy , but figured after a month you would not do anything about it anyway . So I just live w / it and hate how it looks .So you ask and now I am telling you . so be it , would I order again, not sure. BUT , other than that the blind is great and I love what I chose .Now I finally got that off my chest after about a year..

we found these blinds at a local building supply store and thought that they were outrageously priced. so we went online and found out they were. the exact same quality of blind and under half the cost. and no screw ups on the ordering. even delivered on time.

I bought these blinds (7) for another room three years ago. Ever notice mini blinds that are maybe 1/2" wide and when open you can hardly see whats outside. Well these beauties because of their width give lots of view and lets lots of light in. My husband had all 9 of them installed within an hour. Super simple. Of course I should say he is a very handy man:)
